Go Cubs Go

The day has finally come…Arizona awaits. Got my man-crush shirt and hat all laid out. Let’s do this.

Ok. So, this trip isn’t off to a great start. First, I got up to the front of the line to check my bag and realized that my laptop was still in the back of Jennifer’s car. Super. Called her cell…straight to voicemail. Super duper. After cursing my inability to teleport, I went outside and attempted a mind-meld with the wife.

Look in the back seat. Look in the back seat. My laptop is there. Bring me my laptop. These aren’t the droids you’re looking for. Bring me my laptop.

Shockingly enough, it worked. I was no sooner done with my telekinesis experiment, then my wife pulled up. I thanked her, kissed her repeatedly, asked her nicely to charge her cell phone and then I was off.

Well, sort of. Friggin' bag weighed in at 56 pounds. So I could either “take out 6 pounds” or pay 25 bucks. Ladies and gentlemen…we’ve hit the super tirfecta. Yeah, I know, I packed too much…whatever. So, now I wait for my flight with 7 kids behind me being told repeatedly “No” and “Eat that” by their mother. Sigh. And there is no free wi-fi. WTF? Whatever, I’ll be in AZ soon.

Go Cubs.
