Already 60 degrees here today. Nice. Saw that it made it to the mid 40's in Chicago, though. Too bad I missed it. Been to the gym this morning already and are heading to BW3 to watch the race outdoors (god bless the SW). Should be a great day. Less than 20 hours 'til we see the Cubs up close and personal. Can't wait.

ReplyDeleteAs for Chicago, yes it's 50 degrees here, unfortunately, the pouring down rain does not help the ambiance.
Regarding the green light, the pre-show started at 12:00 CST, the "race" was supposed to start at 1:00 CST. However, it's now 2:00 CST and I'm watching Kool and the Gang instead of racing. Are they planning to run under the lights tonight?
At least they followed up Kool and the Gang with Brooks and Dunn. Seems like a better choice for the venue. Shocking that Kix (Yes, his first name is Kix) Brooks touted Dale Sr.
As a side note, I went onto the "Nascar" chat on ESPN to confirm that it actually was Kool and the Gang earlier. Scary place that chat. Lets just say that Dale Jr.'s genital warts played a prime role in the chat. Scary. Although he seems to be the overwhelming favorite among the "fans" chatting.
